Principal Designer

Sarah Solis, a classically trained interior designer based in Malibu, founded her namesake studio with a singular vision: to create spaces that are deeply personal, timeless, and transportive. Her work is celebrated for its harmonious balance of warmth, calm, form, and function. With degrees in interior design, fine art, and art history, Sarah brings a richly layered perspective to every project – bridging classical influences with the rhythms of modern living. Her portfolio spans a range of residential and commercial work for a diverse roster of clients, including celebrities, CEOs, and artists.

Sarah designs to inspire, tell stories, and elevate the everyday. A devoted world traveler, her journeys across the globe are a constant source of inspiration. Each project reflects her love of organic natural materials, her commitment to lasting craftsmanship, and her respect for the history and architecture of a space. Above all, she believes in the power of small details to create big feelings.

Her approach is intuitive and nonlinear, unfolding through collaboration and curiosity. In a cultural moment of ever-changing trends, Sarah’s work endures. She believes that design should restore, support, and evolve over time.

In 2024, Sarah launched her bespoke furniture collection, Galerie Solis, the culmination of her formal training, years of importing European furnishings, and a lifelong study of great design.

DESIGNER

Sarah Solis Design Studio is looking for an experienced designer to join our team and support our team. The Designer will be able to confidently lead the design process and projects with Sarah and have a keen sense of style. Must be able to understand the firm’s vision, work in a collaborative environment but also have a strong sense of independent design, as we appreciate new ideas. Our firm’s focus is on residential work and the position requires someone who is proficient in kitchen and bathroom layouts, space planning, and furniture layouts. Must be prepared to work out of our Agoura Hills studio.
